Welcome to Snipdle ("we", "us", or "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it. By using Snipdle at snipdle.com, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Who We Are

2. Information We Collect

We do not collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, or phone number when you play Snipdle. The following data is collected automatically:

• Usage data — pages visited, time spent, game interactions, and general usage patterns, collected via Google Analytics.
• Device and browser data — browser type, device type, operating system, and screen resolution.
• IP address — used to derive approximate geographic location (country/city level). Not stored by us directly.
• Cookies — Google Analytics and Google AdSense use cookies to measure traffic and serve relevant ads. See Section 4 for more.
• Game progress — your puzzle progress (current puzzle index and results) is stored locally in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To understand how players interact with Snipdle and improve the game experience.
• To measure the effectiveness of advertising (via Google Ads / AdSense).
• To maintain and improve site performance and reliability.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties except as described in this policy.

4. Cookies and Advertising

Snipdle uses Google Analytics (to understand traffic) and Google AdSense (to display advertisements). These services use cookies — small text files stored on your device — to function.

Google AdSense may use cookies to show you ads based on your prior visits to Snipdle and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.

5. Firebase

Snipdle uses Google Firebase Hosting to serve the website and Firebase Realtime Database to load daily puzzle data. Firebase may collect standard server log data including IP addresses. See Firebase Privacy Policy for details.

6. Children's Privacy

Snipdle is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights including the right to access, correct, or delete data held about you. Since we do not store personal data directly, most requests relate to data held by Google (Analytics, AdSense, Firebase). You can manage your Google data at myaccount.google.com.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Snipdle after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
